Frequently Asked Questions:

What does a typical Wednesday look like?
Their day consists of three 90 minute class blocks including Humanities, Science/Lab, and Math Enrichment/Career Exploration. Students have social breaks in between as well as a 30 minute lunch period.

How is the Humanities block able to cover three credits?
Mrs. VanDyken has designed a curriculum that intertwines elements of Literature, History, and Writing that satisfies these credit requirements. This is the course that will contribute the most to your student's homework load.

Are you accredited?
No we are not. You are still the final authority of your student's education. They will receive grades from their instructors but ultimately you can make the final decision of what goes on their transcripts. Depending on the level of independence of your student, you may need to help them navigate the mapping out of their work and assist them in completing the weekly assignments.
